K-1 striking and QUINTET grappling have formed a capital business partnership and will hold a joint event named ReBOOT on September 10 (Sun), 2023.

WHY WE REBOOT
CONCEPT
There was a time when the world of martial arts revolved around Japan. That's because many of the world's combative sports have their roots there.
K-1, once the world's dominant standing combat sport, was born of the Japanese martial art of karate.
While Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a linchpin of the modern grappling game, also has its origins in traditional Japanese martial arts.
Theories abound as to the real roots of MMA, but before UFC gained its toehold as a sport, Japanese MMA had PRIDE, and PRIDE has its roots in the Japanese pro wrestling organization, UWF.
These martial sports, born of Japan, stepped out onto the world stage, bringing the masses to a frenzy. But it's high time to bring them home and return Japan to the center stage.
It's time to throw off the chokehold MMA has on combat sports, time to kick things off, and “REBOOT” the world of fighting.
Once again remember the thrill, once again feel the fever of the fight on September 10th, in YOKOHAMA...
